“If you look at CGI, it gets dated in two years,” Breault says. “Your eyes know something’s wrong. But you can watch Aliens or Predator now and it looks the same.”

I don’t know that title, I’m talking about all sorts of games. Aside from the shrine puzzles moving more slowly because it’s more believable for their massive size (instant response is reserved for bow aiming), I’m fairly sure most of the difference comes from the fact that we’re so ridiculously pampered nowadays that

No, you’re making stuff up! PC doesn’t have downsides, haven’t you heard? :P

They have both male and female mascots, which *will* make you horny if you go see a game.

It’s perfectly consistent. It works the same for everyone. Some people are bad at using it.

I don’t think you’ve really understood what a variable means in this case.

But that’s what I am telling you. I never had any lasting trouble with it after I learned how to use it. No more trouble than with any traditionally controlled game, anyway. Neither did many other people.

I’m sorry but when I read opinions on that game on the internet all I see is “Oh no, I swung the baseball bat forward but the ball went up! This sport is so inconsistent, it sucks, and it’s not me that’s the problem at all!”

It was only criticized by people with no motion control who wrongly tried to play the game with the sort of flailing motions you’re talking about. :) Everyone else loved it.

The Wii had plenty of games with the sort of rolling ball puzzles that BotW has, that worked with the base Wii remote. Monkey Ball being the most famous.

You guys must have hated playing physical, analogue games before computers were invented.

BotW’s combined motion controls are better and more precise than stick only. No contest.

You’re doing it. :)

Frankly it’s an utter fucking travesty that they gave MASS EFFECT of all things to their third-rate team, and instead focused all their main resources on this shit.

Don’t kid yourself.

Why on earth would I drop 500 bones on this thing when I could save a bit more and build a comparable PC, on which I could still enjoy Microsoft’s “exclusives” but then have all the benifits of, well, a PC.

Ooohhhh don’t say it, or you’re gonna get some idiot on your ass who’s gonna eloquently try to explain to you how you couldn’t possibly have gotten through the game as a kid without reading the manual. :P

I’m still outraged about this! .... I was hoping for Tracer x Mei dammit. :( Tracer x Dva could be good. Tracer x Widow seems good too but that could be... problematic.

I love how desperate you people get to blame Nintendo for anything to the point of ignoring basic logic. :)

Right, that’s why tiny 1-man Japanese indie studios manage to get their game in English over here yet Squenix somehow didn’t manage. It must be a conspiracy! Goddammit Nintendo! :D
