I feel like a lot of these “shortage coming!” stories are purely artificial and are designed to justify price increases or convince people to stock up NOW! so the corporations that make the product can get your money sooner.

I would argue salespeople actually detract from the experience. They actively make things worse through incompetence.

I’m generally against more and more regulation but at this point I don’t think we have any choice anymore and people should have to pass a test to earn a passenger air travel license. A written portion to go over behavior and courtesy standards and then a practical test for luggage stowing, retrieval, kiosk lineups…

In the old days cars had presets, usually 2 sometimes more. When my dad who is 6'1" got in the car he pressed 1 and it would move the seat and mirrors accordingly.
