I would choose every single one of those manufacturers over Benz, not just in reliability, but in actual design. They’re all making blunders but the 10" light up logo is the definition of gaudy and tacky. I’m shocked they didn’t pair it with dollar sign rims.

So don't tip at all and have the employee suffer? Ok.

I agree it’s a bit lame of a design choice, seeing how the sensors at least would look a lot less out of place if they replaced the mid-grill solid panel with the sensors, kind of kill 2 birds with one stone since I don’t get why that banner is there either.

I got my A6 mostly because of how it looks, “not special”, I wasn’t trying to go for some gaudy rice burner or modern muscle car with a grill bigger than the windshield, I like that it just looks like a decent, nice, practical car, that just so happens has a supercharger and zips to 100 in a matter of seconds.

Just tip in cash, problem solved. Sometimes simple solutions do work, just not ones thought up by simple people.

Nah, I like sitting on my ass, especially in cities I’m not familiar with and don’t want to spend the minimal time I have to spare wasted driving around a city I don’t know, getting frustrated with parking, etc.

Tipping *is* optional, and that kind of attitude is precisely the kind of reason why *mandatory* tipping is a plague. I love leaving massive tips for great service, I despise leaving any tip for someone with a horrible attitude and/or service (but still leave at least the expected min 15% until we move away from such

I paid that much for a newer, non-salvage, mint condition Cadillac SRX. There's no reason this should run more than 3grand, salvage alone means I probably wouldn't pay more than $1500 for a non-collectible.

Its kind of a dick way of putting it. Not completely off the mark though so I can’t really say anything in response.

Im actually the one pushing for the minivan for my wife, and yes it’s all about that stigma I think, SUVs just look cooler and tougher, not sure why she dislikes them so but I think it’s primarily that/”status” for her (I personally am fine with beater vehicles and all that, luxury is nice but it’s not a need, she’s

Seriously people like this aren’t helping, the guy obviously has too much ego, over promises and underdelivers time and time again. Not saying he isn’t intelligent, have talent, etc. But failures are failures, most people either move on or at least do what they can to correct them. Doubling down on something like this

Yep, what this guy needs is to be a little patient and rational. He has a fine car for now, stick with it. I know it’s great to “treat yo self” with a new job or promotion but unless you’re already on solid ground it’s not a logical decision.

I used to use Canon, and work occasionally has me using a D5, and I really think people overstate the “bad” UI of Sony. All the normal exposire controls have their own dedicated button on the RII that I use, the only “awkward” or annoying aspect is if you’re the type of shooter who’s trying to do in-camera HDR or

Huh, I was a professional when I was a young adult, same as now. I've known deputy directors who were insanely professional in their 20s who are now up there in government and private sectors. You may have been a shitty young adult, but the fuck is with these horrible generalizations? I've known plenty of

Is this satire? The fuck, children getting all “extra”, are you 10 years old yourself?

Uh, you’d think a tech website might understand the point of a rolling backpack and be less critical if a functional accessory often made for those in the tech sector (ThinkTank, Pelican, etc all make these types of bags). I work in AV/video production and am highly mobile in my work, and we use all sorts of

“Practically giving away” “$40k+ for a Kia”

Ah yes, tell that to all the billionaire and multi-millionaire money hoarders, I don't think this is that helpful of advice to the average person. The average person DOES use their money to enjoy their life, as best they can, in between physical and mental slaving for an employer. Otherwise this comes across as

Chalking is primarily done on unpaid parking locations, as meters keep track and notify of when a person needs to move their vehicle, and is an annoying but important aspect in crowded cities to make sure actual customers can get to businesses and not just be clogged by employees from unrelated businesses taking up

Our town did completely away with them. Now everyone runs reds all the time and accidents happen regularly, much better!
