No mention of the Econoline cutaway? I’m disappointed. You can still buy an Econoline van, from Ford, sawzalled directly behind the front seats. This image doesn’t do it justice, but they get dropped on the dealer lot with a blue sheet of adhesive plastic covering the hole behind the seats, and a pair of Jeep CJesque

Except the sys locks out for 10 min at a time after 3 failed attempts, or 15 key presses.  Much longer than 20min to go through all the codes. Also, each keypress wakes the vehicle's body control module from sleep for up to 40 min. By the time the code was cracked, the battery would probably be dead.

Yea, but then Flyover states become hostile territories trying to shoot you out of the sky.

Do these guys play rock paper scissors to see who gets stuck having to make the sensible suggestion?

The LS4 powered 06-09 Impala SS would like a word.

I think everyone here has the wrong take on this. Portal Axles are great when you have a fixed powertrain, but what happened to those in wheel motors we used to hear so much about. Did you catch the part where it was only listed for $2,750?

To bad this exact thing has never happened before in the auto industry.

Not gonna lie. If there was no chance for survival, why not go out in full Dr Strangelove style?

Spotter please!

Honestly, I bet this is probably a shit car for little kids. That video Andrew posted about the door latch doesn’t do it justice. It takes a significant amount of force to close these doors properly. Add to that the high effort push button door handles (think Jeep XJ with smaller button and more effort) and little

So far, this is following the timeline of Boris Johnson to a tee.

Out of an “Abundance of Caution”

As long as the 1.6 doesn’t explode first. I have yet to see one make it to its scheduled timing belt change of 150,000mi.

Don’t remember where, but I saw an 88 Bronco for $56k
