I did get a laugh about how they were setting up that video game guy to be a big antagonist to Dexter, but evidently thought better of it, and had Ray Stevenson randomly kill him.

The show's had a few dirty cops. Paula Garces's character was a dirty cop, Gregson's old partner planted evidence.

I knew that guy looked familiar. That scene in "True Detective" where he has sex with his retarded sister is probably the most disturbing thing I've ever watched on TV.

I think the fatal moment for the show was when it basically let Dexter off the hook for the Doakes dilemma in Season 2. The Lithgow season was pretty good but most of what followed was crap.
