I think I've read that the film's ending, with David having a day with the Monica clone, was in fact the original ending from Stanley Kubrick's story treatment, and was not an addition by Spielberg.

You did not pay attention to the movie and you didn't read the review. They're not aliens, they're advanced robots.

Thanks!

For those who can't watch this video, and those like me who don't want to, just what is the theory that it is proposing?

Abraham should just form a menage with his wife and Anna. It's the sensible thing to do.

I am surprised that the second season picks up after Saratoga. Not just that it was the pivotal battle of the entire war, but there was some good espionage action, namely, the message from Clinton to Burgoyne that you needed the right shape of hourglass to read.

Well anything to piss off Canada is obviously worth it.

I've been watching this show for over 30 years and Leslie Jones is the worst sketch player I've ever seen.

I'm white and I didn't know who she was. Still don't care, actually. Actually until I opened this article I was under the impression that Taraji P. Henson was a dude.

No, you cannot spoil a documentary, no you cannot.

By the way, this season of "The Amazing Race" has been pretty good. All the blind date teams rapidly grew to hate each other and it's been tremendous. That harpy of a nurse constantly nagging her doctor partner has been hilarious.

Not watching unless they've uncovered nude Ava Gardner photos.

If memory serves, and this is me dimly remembering over 20 years ago, that storyline came about because Kirstie Alley got pregnant. And they cut that story short after she miscarried.

Hm. I've been running through the whole series with my wife, who isn't originally from this country and had never seen the show. I'd like to see the finale uncut but I dunno if I want to subscribe to Netflix just for that.

I've been watching the reruns on the Hallmark Channel, but they're cut pretty badly for commercials. I looked on the internet to see if I could find the series finale on streaming video somewhere, but no such luck.

With the understanding that there is no bad season of Cheers, yeah, I'd say Season 10 is probably the least good. The first four are all stone-cold classics. Season 5 is a notch below the first four, the Sam-Diane arc was running out of gas and it's probably a good thing that Diane left. Season 6 with Rebecca is

I find it impossible to believe anyone lived with Whoopi Goldberg for more than a day or two.
