That’s not the point to my post.

Exactly. This “Switch Tax” has two issues (one legitimate, one bullshit).

It’s cute that you think Nintendo forces publishers to set certain prices on games.

“This $500 Jeep Comanche runs well. I’ve been driving it, and though it is insured, I still haven’t registered it due to COVID. This Jeep will remain my beater until I decide to move, at which point, it will go.”

Well truth be told, you were dangerously close to becoming that old guy who was ordered to get rid of his 200+ car ‘collection... err... junkyard.

I agree with them, sorry. Being the SUV equivalent of the Crazy Cat Lady is not the eyesore the neighborhood needs. It doesn’t make you a terrible person but a bit of a lousy neighbor. Finish a project and move on or get a big garage.

I appreciate your articles and love your wrenching mentality, but damn, I’d hate to live next door to you. You are the reason we have laws like this. If this was cats instead of Jeeps, someone would have called the authorities long ago.

Is there a picture of how your property looks from the street? Without it and just going by what I see and read in the article, this is a problem. It’s cool that you’re living out your dream, but there is a line of being inconsiderate that *sounds* like has been crossed.

My unchecked antics have been tremendously successful from a readership standpoint, contributing to Jalopnik garnering the most traffic the website has ever seen.

I found David’s house on google maps.

I’m convinced that people on automotive blogs think that anything not sold in the U.S. is automatically cool. This “thing” is hideous and would be torn to shreds in this comment section if Toyota used this design for the Sienna.

lol - finally. Look, if you dont like it dont create a junkyard in a yard for a house that you do not own yourself.

Isn’t that a Toyota Sienna with body cladding?

How do you even pick one of those to call your beater?  Did you just draw a VIN out of your hat?

I’m sorry, but I would have complained to.  If you want to do live like this you need to move to the middle of nowhere with multiple acres of land.

quite honestly, you are just about every homeowner’s worst nightmare of a neighbor barring crack house.

Fucking finally someone’s forcing you to clean up the junkyard around your house. You’re not even able to move a literal wreck of a Kia out of your driveway for two years.

Shocking that a neighbor wouldn’t want their property value being brought down by the house with all the rusted out shitboxes scattered across the lawn.

It’s not a badge of honor. It’s a sign that you live in a shithole of your own making. Clean up your act pigman.

i would report you to for running a unlicensed junk yard....how many of them are leaking oil or transmission fluid on the ground....next the EPA will be involved
