Look in the mirror. People like you are a GODDAMN PROBLEM.
Neighbors and commenters knew Albert’s naughty language was a big problem and said nothing. Please report him, fine sir.
I hope a bucket of paint falls off a ladder and lands upside-down on your head and gets stuck there and you stumble around with a paint-bucket on your head and crash into a ladder and fall down a manhole.
“It will happen again with or without gun control. It’ll happen less often, but it will still happen.”
She is 16 years old and wrote a tweet a few hours after her world was just turned upside down. Valentines day will forever mean something different to her. People will look at her differently, treat her differently. She will never forget the moment that everything changed. That’s the person you are telling is wrong.…
She didn’t say “EVER again,” so if “it’ll happen less often,” then gun control will, in fact, “prevent it happening again.” So it turns out your pedantry was the *actual* blatant lie done for effect.
The whole horse. Not a horse’s dick. An entire horse.
Really? REALLY? That’s your takeaway?
Would gun control 100% guarantee that something like this wouldn’t happen again? Obviously not. But it would go a long way to reducing the chances that it’ll happen again as well as put systems in place for dealing with it.
Holy shit, fuck you to death.
If by “less often” you mean every twenty or thirty years like other countries with real gun control laws.
Australia instituted draconian gun control followed up with rigorous enforcement. It went from a place with a lot of mass shootings to a place with none. So the idea that gun control absolutely cannot prevent mass shootings is a blatant lie, and done so for effect. (The effect, of course, is announcing you’re a ghoul…
“Actually, you will save many lives, but not every life!” Owned!
She just got the privilege of watching and listening to her fellow students and friends die at the hands of a gunman hours before she made that tweet.
You just pulled a “well actually” on someone whose friends were just murdered. Fuck yourself with a horse
Yeah, teenagers who just escaped a mass shooting after seeing their friends murdered should definitely be “taken to task” for saying “prevent” when they really mean “curtail.” Keep fighting the good fight.
It’ll happen less often,
Is the passage of gun control going to stop school shootings in it’s tracks? No, of course not, in the same way that you don’t immediately stop being sick the moment you take your first antibiotic. But that doesn’t mean it’s not the thing that’s going to do the most good in preventing them from happening this often.
