There was a waiter at a now-closed restaurant who was an Asian version of my (white) husband. Similar height, build, hair, jawline. We used to joke about the King of the Hill episode where Hank has the Japanese half-brother from his fathers wartime escapades.

I feel like they should cast a black actor as Marlon Brando and an Asian actress to play Liz Taylor. Hamilton the thing and run with it. Make the whole thing a discussion between those three close friends who lived public lives rather than impressions. I would be interested in that version.

Every time I see Tracy Morgan, I think of my grandmother’s best friend, who was white but had very similar facial features. Even their speech patterns are similar.

My mother used to look a lot like Lena Horne. Part of it was a conscious style choice, but the bone structure similarity was marked. I also have an uncle (other side of the family) who was the spitting image of Billy Dee Williams.

When I was a little kid, I had no idea that MJ was black. :/
