I have a lot of friends that have moved because they are being priced out. It is starting to feel like you can’t live in Denver if you are middle income. I don’t know how people with kids do it.

On top of malls in general struggling, I think Cherry Creek will become a symbol of frustration with how Denver is changing into a major city. Charging for parking at a mall is something that just doesn’t happen in Colorado. (It took me time to get used to it when I moved away)

I feel like the Cheery Creek Mall in Denver will go the way of the dinosaurs sooner rather than later as well. It seemed like it was doing actually pretty well, and then they decided to start charging for parking and now everyone is mad and saying they won’t shop there on principle.
