I want one with a toothbrush on the end. Or maybe buy an electric toothbrush that can just double up as a vibrator. Same thing.

I think the fact that this 3D will not cause more harm than a regular screen is covering the fact that screens are still bad for your eyes. especially ones as small as those on a handheld games console.

All this talk about '4G' is making me wonder when we should expect it in the UK, whether it is just fast 3G or actual 4G. We've had the HTC G2 here as the HTC Desire Z, stripped of the 4G capabilities. But when will we have it for real?

MSE is great at ferreting out malware.

@im2fools: It would be very funny if they did resort to extortion, though. Pay us or we'll tell your teacher you copied and pasted what we said.

@im2fools: As I said, I don't mean to criticise it. I just feel that the actual phrasing in the campaign was off. I know they've tried to be a registered charity in the UK before, but they should try again. It's become one of the best (but not most reliable) sources of information.

We don't have Vizio in the UK. Anybody care to tell me more? Are they a cheap brand?

I always thought it looked like a dodgy pop-up with the fake little button in the corner.

Wow. That's an ugly bugger. But, for some reason, I really like it. It looks more like the original DS, with the curved bits at the edge of the top screen (as in picture 7). I assume this is the actual final design, minus the bits on the bottom of it.

@Hello Mister Walrus: It's okay. I can see he's enjoying that. As long as he doesn't go out driving after.

@bsh0544: It's for those that live on the edge. Edge of death, that is.

@rjdub: You're not knocking the cork out, though. You're taking the entire neck off.

@ceilingFANBOY: You are so right. We've always avoided fake brands and stuck with proper television manufacturers, since they're rarely much more and it's worth it, seeing as you might be watching something on it for the next ten or more years. Likewise, a shitty Blu-Ray player is going to cripple the quality.

@NerD:blogOtaku: I certainly noticed no difference with Back To The Future, the only reason for me buying it on Blu-Ray was because it was cheaper than on DVD (it was the opening weekend at Best Buy) and I wanted to really test it out.

@ceilingFANBOY: Sorry to be so blunt, but I highly doubt the improvement in contrast ratio will be either noticeable or beneficial to the film in general. But, again, maybe it's just because of my point of view on what makes the film good and my scepticism over HD in general.

I bought a Blu-Ray for the family 32" 1080i TV at the end of October because it was at £70 in Best Buy that weekend and our DVD player was on its way out. I will still stand that Blu-Ray and HD are cons. I noticed a bit of a difference when I watched Iron Man 2, what with the lasers and explosions. Splice was a bit

@Dan.K: I was wrong. Thanks for correcting me. :3

@davepermen: It seemed to push the science behind it very much, so I'm not surprised it was supported by NASA.

@gnur: But the gas can spread about, and cool down at a higher rate, as well as becoming thinner, to stop them being able to breath, so they would need to insulate themselves.
