Unless something changed in the past few years I seriously doubt it is “great” and is more than likely simply “usable for basic tasks.” I’d rather just use an online suite at that point.

Even as an avid Mac user, I think a Surface would be quite useful in the classroom. My brother is a professor and still uses his trusty Tablet PC which he says is excellent for note taking, which he also mirrors out wirelessly to the projector.
