I’ve seen a cop only once on Merritt parkway (other than for construction), but he wasn’t pulling anyone over, just sitting in the grassy triangle between the exit ramp and the on-ramp. It was dark, so I couldn’t even tell what kind of cop it was or whether he was using radar.

Your original post sounded like you had a fairly specific beef in mind, but alright.

Actually, different person, but it’s amusing to see that your jimmies are still rustled.

I was impressed that they didn’t use a visually similar, non-turbo 3000GT. I doubt anyone except an owner/ex-owner would notice.

Huh, small world.

.......Oh.......damn, my bad.

I’m surprised, I didn’t have any trouble finding mine.

Used to be a 3000GT VR-4 or a 2nd gen Viper.

That seems like an extremely convenient and contrived definition specifically tailored to absolve people of color from acts of racism and bigotry.

I’ve only been to a couple of large trade shows, but dancing girls seem to be a fairly common sight, especially if the target audience was mostly men.

I see, so it’s not that you couldn’t make the bolts stronger (through heat-treating) or larger for additional strength, but the benefit to the TTY method is consistency and repeatability of clamping force when assembled.

Would you mind explaining why torquing a bolt to the yield point is the desired method (other than previously mentioned uniform clamping load)? It seems counter-intuitive, as I would think any additional force applied to the bolt (like from braking) in that direction would cause it to plastically deform, and then you

I was getting it at invoice pricing, which was a good deal at the time. Most Subaru dealers acted like they were selling some kind of limited edition and wouldn’t move from MSRP.

I had a Subaru salesman try and screw me on a factory order for my STI. I gave him a list of options I wanted, and we agreed upon a price. He brought me a sales contract that listed none of them. When I asked about it, he claimed that options go on different paperwork. When I pushed him, he told me that he couldn’t

I’m sensing a trend regarding Toyota dealerships.

What’s different about the rear fog lights? Do Euro-spec models get to have two?

Okay, I misunderstood what you meant about selective high-beams. Mine just automatically shut off when they detect headlights or taillights.......or street lights......or porch lights......or anything that might be reflecting my headlights.........or swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and

My 2013 Volvo has HID’s, adaptive aiming, and selective high beams. I live in the states.

No one has complained about my Volvo wagon, at least to my face.

You’re offended that someone won’t spend thousands of dollars of their own money to modify their stock-engined, legal work-truck to avoid offending people with its (allegedly) only-slightly-discolored exhaust?
