If you can only have one car, and it has to meet all of your wants and needs, what would you own?

If you can only have one car, and it has to meet all of your wants and needs, what would you own?

I think calling Formula 1 the cutting edge gives them too much credit. Restricted tire durability, restricted aerodynamic features, restricted suspension setups, restricted engine development, restricted engine management, etc, etc. Everything is highly and tightly regulated, and therefore unlikely to be at the

In turn, I would argue that people living paycheck to paycheck are the last people who should be purchasing a new car period. I bought a new car because I had the disposable income and decided to treat myself to a new car, rather than one of unknown provenance, especially for a car that has the reputation of abuse

I think you're slightly mistaken. My understanding was that they sold more 3000GT/Stealths's over the lifetime of the car than FD RX-7s, MKIV Supras, and Z32 300ZX's combined.

What about the scenario where I can easily get 10% on 30k if I invest it, versus the ~2% I'm paying out in interest on the loan. Seems like taking the financing is an easy decision, no?

Do they still have the issues with the overheating engine and catastrophic brake fade/failure, or have they worked those kinks out?

Considering how fast he was going, I'd say his car fared pretty well.

My new Subaru didn't enjoy the winter either. It never left me stranded, and always started, but on cold mornings it took about 5 seconds of cranking for the engine to catch. I sold the battery to a friend for $40 (~1 year old) and bought an Odyssey AGM battery with double the CCA, and it's no longer an issue.

I'm not sure it's the best way, but I think one good way is to carry a quality set of jumper cables around with you. I hardly ever need them myself, but they're nice to have in case you need to help someone out. Has happened on more than one occasion.

How do you like the Pioneer head unit? I've been looking at getting a GPS Nav to replace the stock Subaru unit.

I totally agree with you. I never really considered it from that perspective, but the car is just so damn easily customizable, it's really easy and satisfying to make it exactly the way you want it. It's hard to resist.

The answer is clearly a Charger Hellcat.

I was going to say "Nuh Uh! Mine is totally stock!".......and then I remembered the mudflaps (for the Subaru watercolor paint) and Cobb Accessport (for the detrimental stock tune). Doh ><

I feel like I might deserve a hat-tip here. Did you get this from Matt? Either way, I've got some video and pictures I can provide on the condition that you get me out of this "pending review" hell.

With the release of the new platform, is there any chance we might see the return of the Mazdaspeed MX-5 sometime in the future?

How about an athlete?

China has a better education system than we do.

In terms of aircraft engines, I've been lead to believe that it's the opposite; that Russian engines are malfunction-prone and lacking in durability and efficiency.
