You just can't please some people. Here Subaru is offering a spiritual successor to the Legacy GT that people have been jonesing for, saying that the current Legacy has grown too fat in the interim, and all some people can do is complain. Subaru's are boring. Subaru's are ugly. Subaru's have no character. Etc, etc,

Toshinobu Minami

Copy the title of the article, close the tab, and search for it on Google. For some reason, if you find it through a google search, you don't run into the paywall.

What year? You can turn it off on the STI, not sure about the WRX. I turned mine off in the first two weeks of ownership after causing me to stall the car 4 times in the first 3 days. That's probably more than I stalled in the combined 8 years of driving a manual before the Subie. Remind me what the point of this

2014 Subaru Forester XT has a 2.0T with 250hp, 258lb-ft, and a CVT.

Pylon turn.......of DOOOOOOM!!!!

It does seem like the ZR1 driver isn't very......enthusiastic.

While I respect your opinion, I think we'll have to agree to disagree, because rare is the situation where I'll take an older car over it's modern equivalent, if one exists. Unless you're VW or Honda, the cars you make generally improve over time.

Other than uniqueness, are there any good reasons you'd take a $50k Supra, over a similarly priced used C6 Z06, or a brand-spanking new C7?

50 is nuts. Thats Cayman money

Hennessy has a tarnished reputation. If I was sending a new Corvette anywhere for some go-fast parts, it would not be there. More likely to be Callaway or Lingenfelter. As far as I've heard, THOSE are companies who are arguably some of the most respected tuning houses in America.

I would agree with you had the author specified "optional" manual transmissions.

16 is probably legal in Arkansas.......

Doh, forgot the GTI.

I'm going to guess that the WRX hatch was overlooked and not included in the Subaru Impreza number, because there sure as hell are more than 20 WRX wagons sitting on lots across the country.

Took me a second to realize you were talking about

I don't like this guy, despite what he's accomplished. I can't put my finger on why, but from what I've read of him, he comes off as an arrogant, ignorant asshole.

Every time I see one of the pre-facelifted versions, I'm reminded of this video.

I had to disable mine. I couldn't predict when it would activate , and therefore it kept causing me to stall the car on light-to-medium grades. I wouldn't expect it to engage, and therefore wouldn't give the car enough throttle to overcome the extra resistance.
