I love this. I have a 200 hp 1999.5 Audi A4. I have also recently driven several newer turbocharged vehicles. I am generally more excited about my old car. There’s so much more drama. Several new cars just lack any kind of excitement. 80 mph isn’t exciting at all. It’s as if everything is happening around you.

I saw The Turbo Engineers post that picture of the turbos, but had no idea it belonged to this monstrosity. I can’t wait to see videos of this. I hope he makes so many.

Yes, you can. You just have to weld the center diff and remove the front axles. I'm actually not sure if that's true. I'm assuming so because there are several B5 and C5s that have had that done.

Everyone else had already picked something. I felt it my civic internet duty to pick out that last thing. It seems you weren't clear to anyone else about the rest of your statements, either.

*42 mpg if you use the all-American gallon.

How in the flying fuck do you consider Apple selling only "1" product? In quotation marks, no less. Is that you way of avoiding saying several different products? You know, like phones of various sizes, watches, desktops, laptops, headphones, personal music players, software, streaming products for your TV, and

They have been for a while!

Well, I own a 2001 Audi S4 Avant. I love it for several reasons. 1) It's fast. 2) It's the proper tool for so many jobs! I have an obsession with that. I'm a truck technician and I hate using the wrong tool. It offers so much space and utility. And someday, some douchebag at my future child's school is going to make

Assuming it's built similarly to Eaton's autoshifts, you try telling me those are better after you've changed a dozen X-Y shifters.

I do this partially because my dad taught me back when he was teaching me to drive and partially because I work on semis for a living. Who knew that was going to be a skill I'd actually use for a good portion of my life. Also, it's called "floating gears".

You're actually supposed to impale yourself onto it.

Now that you called it a dump truck look, I love it even more. Also, that little Z car (I think) in the bottom right looks fantastic.

My shop has a Freightliner chassis with the Series 60 and Eaton manual 13 speed intact. It's been sitting outside for maybe 4 years. Freightliner Superleggera. Real thing.

If they brought over a regular GTD, I would be perfectly happy. In fact, it's exactly what I want and have wanted for years. Every time they mention it, I get stoked only to have my heart broken a few months later. STOP IT, VW.

No one in Northern California ever really stops using that word.

A guy I work with recently tried a brake stand burnout inside the shop. He got scared and stopped pretty much as soon as the wheels started spinning, but there were little rubber marks there for a few days.

I'll have to take a picture of this Sterling motorhome that comes into our shop pretty regularly. It's basically a small semi with a giant camper on it. Oh, and he has a deck on the rear. It's pretty fantastic.

Jebus Christo, that sounds INFINITELY better than a Harley. And that's besides the fact that it sounds like it's firing on all cylinders.

Well, gravity affects all objects the same, so that's a non-issue. And the landing he mentioned.
