Automated manual transmissions are fitted to most new trucks in America, too. Eaton makes most of them. Before we stopped being a premium dealer, I saw mostly manual transmissions. The only synchro is from low to high range. That's still true on the automated manuals.

Hell, American truck companies don't advertise AT ALL. Drives me nuts.

Because California emissions. Testing is absurdly expensive.

I work at an International truck dealer. Believe it or not, we've had to take a truck home before. It's usually when they ask for a 100 mile test drive and most of the guys live about 50 miles away. Normally, however, the owner is really in the loop and it's still covered by warranty. The fact they were so ignorant

I occasionally drive street sweepers from the right driver's seat around the shop and the hardest part is that the mirrors are set for one of the seats and not the other. I also think it's funny to flip the switch to the other seat while someone is sitting in it.

Obviously we need a fastest wagon QOTD.

I wonder how fast it could destroy the differentials and transmission. 0-60 in HOPEFULLY!

That man is a saint!

I guess now we know exactly how much a shitload is.

Cool. So, don't buy a Honda. Got it.

One of the worst parts of being a mechanic is the hundreds, if not thousands of acronyms I have to learn for individual manufacturers.

I would love to see way more Gatebil footage like this. Hell, once more from this year starts hitting the internet, I know what I'll spend a free day doing. Honestly, I'd really just kill to go to Gatebil.

Sweet Jebus, I want that car. My wife wants one, too. But that's so much money for one.... Ugh.... I'll just keep saving and be sad.

2015: The year Mitsubishi pulls out of America.

I'll be right back. I need to fly to Maryland, apparently, to get that RS4.

That RS4 is actually a pretty good price point. I recently saw a couple others for closer to $46k.

It seems that a lot of people think the only thing you can do as a driver is long haul. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and work at Peterson Trucks (International, Caterpillar, Cummins) We mostly work on International trucks, but still get a lot of Peterbilts, Kenworths, Freightliners, Thomas, Blue Bird, Heil,

I didn't realize APR actually had a tune for the TDI. And you are 100% correct. These figures are pretty much the GTD numbers. This changes everything. I'll put a $600 tune in it and a GTD badge on it (because that's just fun). Thanks!

Right, in the States. But in other places, his music is huge. Someone else mentioned this, popular music varies by region. Some friends of mine in Zero Hour are absolutely unheard of here in the California Bay Area, but were playing sold out venues with artists like Yngwie Malmsteen and someone else.

Electronic music is huge in Europe and he probably makes absurd amounts in royalties.
