Maybe not, but not everyone wants a "mature" looking car either. There's a million "mature" looking options out there. Get one of those. This car is fun and it's supposed to look the part. No young Jalop dreams of getting a 10 year old Corolla someday. In a time when the manual is a dying breed, someone just has to

I live in the Bay Area, where iPhones are the most common phone. Among hipsters. And Prius owners. Apple is the Toyota of phones. Safe and boring. I have a Nexus 4 and an older Audi. I love both for what they are capable of and what they offer. I still really just want to mirrorcast my phone onto my car. I'd kill for

I would say my 99 A4 rules in the snow, but I haven't had her in proper snow. She does shine in the rain though. When it actually rains in the Bay Area, it feels like I'm the only confident driver on the road. I've seen a million of them (and Subarus) running around Tahoe, too. There's got to be something to that.

As a diesel mechanic, I feel like I'm really lucky to have received the education I did. I went to a high priced trade school I'm still paying for, but it also allowed me to get accepted by Caterpillar for their ThinkBig program. Look it up. Basically, they send you to trade school with the added bonus of an associate

As an International/Caterpillar/Cummins dealer tech, I can tell you that inline 6 engines are UNDISPUTEDLY the best engines to work on. I HATE every V engine I've ever had to work on. Except a 3208, but that's because the L8000 it was in offered stupid amounts of space.

It might happen! I can hope... Their tractor engines have a proper EGR. It seems to work pretty well. Low pressure EGR, or CGI, as per Cat terminology, left minimal soot unless they do a lot of idle time. VW has the same system and the same problem. The fix? Drive it harder. I like it. I miss working on actual Cat

Oh, and one of the latest brochures we have at our dealer shows a mid-sized Cummins engine, a 9 or 12 liter, I can't remember which one, ISX, G, or L, in an International model I'd never even heard of. None of our WorkStars have Cummins in them yet, though.

I've been told the MaxxForce 7 is going the way of the dodo and MAYBE getting replaced with the new ISV. Please tell me this is true. As an International/mostly Cummins now tech, I'm pretty hopeful. I've also been told there's a possibility that Cat might start making their own 13 and 15 liter engine again for the Cat

I'm a little bummed the Lancia Delta isn't available as a shirt... Unless I totally missed it. Please tell me I did :)

It is entirely this show's fault that I spent a good chunk of my life not understanding how clouds worked.

I'm pretty sure Formula 1 actually uses the generator as a motor. As in electric turbo. As in no boost lag. As in genius.

I don't think that video could have bummed me out any more than it did.

Just mentioning that Jalopnik has spent plenty of time and articles making fun of and pointing out how terrible of a driver she is.

I really hope that little twin turbo V6 ends up in the next gen S4. Really hoping...

Couple things: I hate their website. Also, I've seen this before for motorcyclists. I mean, it's not the same thing, but a similar concept that works in conjunction with a helmet. You can find multiple examples simply typing motorcycle airbag into Google.

I would buy a wagon. If I had been able to find a wagon version of my old A4 in the 5 days I had to find a car, I would have bought it over the sedan, hands down. I need one to carry stuff around (sometimes, I play guitar and have a half stack)

There's only one thing to do at a time like that. Shit yourself. Just unleash.

I love going to Santana Row simply because I'm ALWAYS going to see some sweet vehicles there.

I believe #2 about the lanterns is also true in the city of San Francisco. That's the first place I heard about it, anyway.

After having worked on similar V8 diesel motors to this, I can say that I'm not looking forward to this motor. I like Cummins, but I think they could have done better.
