I have mixed feelings about this… Maybe a porn based on the dance Orgy scene would be better…
They also ruined my spaghetti sauce.
They also ruined my bolangnase sauce.
The last time I had sex with my best girlfriend ever (don't tell my wife) was to Boys 2 Men's early 90's album….
I had The Brazilian from Genesis on repeat on a 90 minute cassette…. It was 1987, so cut me some slack hahahaha
I play 80's hair metal when I am wasted so…. At least you are better than that hahahaha
Can't man up when called out?
Nothing. I did not see that my first post actually posted. I thought it had failed.
You replied to my post with subtle derision, for whatever reason you felt it necessary to do so. This isn't a national security, health care, or economic thread but a simple discussion about music which, if I am not mistaken, should be fun.
Do you feel better? I hope so.
I guess it speaks to you more than me. Of my 2500ish albums it's rare indeed to find a few that are on regular replay. This is one of yours… An d I can't argue against it.
I was stating that it rarely if ever is sought out specifically. It is a very good album… Of course.
Thanks for the snark. It was necessary and deserved and I'm sorry I made your day a little worse with my comment.
Influential? Yes. A great album…. No.
I can see that… Dimly. I even preferred Atom Heart Mother over Obscured… Personal preference I guess.
I feel "Wish You Were here " is the best Floyd album…I still listen to that a few times a year and it never gets old. "Dark Side" is a close second, and there are pieces of every album that are great (Except Obscured By Clouds….just never got into that one)
I am guessing that women buy about 50% of books…and as people buy what they want perhaps it is just than men are better writers?
I realize I am opening myself up for the Internet to roast me…….but there was a time Pink Floyd mattered and spoke to me. I was 19, newly stationed in Northern Germany and had just witnessed firsthand the fall of the Berlin Wall. I was alone (I was not a Rambo-type soldier) isolated and a stranger in a strange land.…
Well done, well done indeed!
