Agreed. Pretty sure combing 19 and 21 does not equal 25.

I am a bit confused about the narrative around this story. Earlier, when Democratic congressmen were deriding GM, the narrative seemed to be “Greedy fat capitalists at GM soaking up the tax benefits and firing workers out of corporate greed”, decrying them for taking tax breaks and not creating any jobs with them. Now

Well, lets look at them individually.

Ferrari IMO did their job this season. It was Vettel that really let them down. Mercedes didn’t “dominate” until their run from Singapore to Japan. Until then, the margins were minuscule, and arguably tilted towards Ferrari, but for surprise wins for Hamilton in Hungary, Germany, and Monza. Ferrari made some notable

Well, Halo or not, if it was upside down, he would’ve had to drop on his head to get out of a flaming car. I don't think it would've impeded him much in this situation. What would’ve been problematic is if this happened in gravel, where the roll hope usually gets slightly buried. Then the Halo would’ve blocked off a

That’s a bit gimmicky IMO. Hamilton did the better job on balance over the season than Vettel, so deserved the title. I don’t think a gimmick for excitement needs to be introduced just because Vettel faded hard. Sure, having more teams in the mix would be nice, and if Red Bull continue like this, they will be. But

This. I don’t know why the shoddy reporting on this site didn’t mention that the statement given by Lime (source - The Verge) was “it’s possible for Okai baseboards to crack or break if ridden off a curb at high speed.” Instead its made to sound as if the scooters just fall apart while they are being ridden.

In F1 actually, it is legal. It’s not common but I looked at the official timing sheets and Ocon was over .5s faster than Max owing to his strategy putting him on fresh supers. Being behind Max would’ve held him up and compromised his strategy. Ocon would’ve gapped Max, and wouldn’t have compromised him either.

But any woman who has come close to an F1 drive lately (Jorda, Wolff, and now Calderon) have absolutely abysmal junior series careers. Even the most depressing of the pay drivers like Maldonado was a GP2 champion. Even Marcus Ericsson won a race in GP2.

Also because F1 wings are undergoing hundreds of pounds of force to be flexed. I doubt the same is true of the body panels here.

And I thought the Dead Sea or Bonneville would be the saltiest things on earth...

Agreed, when folks like Calderon are doing horribly in GP3, then there is no way putting them in a separate series will help rectify the perception that they are incapable of racing with men, but will probably actually worsen it. If hypothetically Calderon wins W, then the narrative will be, “the best W series driver

I don’t think W series is positioned as an alternative to F1, but an alternative to GP3/F3. My issue with it is if there are people (mainly F1 managers, but also fans) who don’t think women can compete with men in motorsports, then putting them in a separate junior series while those in the main series’ languish at

If you want to look at things in a more abstract manner, I think he lost it in Germany. Chucking it into the wall from the lead, and allowing Hamilton to win from 14th I think gave Hamilton the mental edge over Vettel, not to mention momentum.

To his credit, Bottas said he doesn’t want to be “gifted” a win like that. But in his favor, Lewis always “switches off” once the title is secured. May not happen this year since the constructors still won’t be decided.. but still

I disagree. You can’t toss people because you’ve determined they’ve reached the end of their useful life. He is still excessively vital to Tesla’s value amongst other things. What Tesla really needs is a solid COO that doesn’t report to Musk. Musk can be CEO and “Chief Engineer” or whatever, and be the vision for the

From what I read, the original settlement had him relinquish CEO for two years as well..

Tim Cook is a brilliant operations guy and good CEO but certainly lacks the vision and charisma that Steve Jobs had. He’d actually be perfect as a COO for Tesla.

Alright asshole, what the hell is wrong with being civilized, huh? Calling me stupid is in no way furthering any point, nor is what I said stupid. You have reached that conclusion simply because I disagree. Acting exactly like our commander in chief, I might add. I told you to look it up because there are so many

There absolutely is a debate that their stock is grossly overvalued (Google “Tesla Overvalued”). You’d have to be blind not to see that. It’s one of the most valuable, if not on occasion, the most valuable companies according to the stock market, but their assets and production and sales potential don’t really meet
