This guy seems kind of annoying. He’s just sort of “forcing” the duel on people who clearly weren’t exactly up for that. Maybe he could have “emoted” at them and see if they took him up on it that way? As it stands, sometimes funny, but mostly cringy.

I grew up on tiny mouse heroes, from The Rescuers to The Rescue Rangers to The Secret of NIMH to An American Tale to The Great Mouse Detective, tiny mice civilizations were “in”.

Skyrim has a major feature that BOTW lacks: constant game-breaking bugs and save file corruption. Nintendo would do well to learn from the masters at Bethesda as such bugs provide a rich community of fans theory crafting all manner of justifications for why such bugs are unavoidable.

Really the only gameplay improvement I could ask for is a real-time way to cast magic spells. Evermore wasn’t as bad as people say. I thought it was fun, it’s just no Seiken Densetsu 3.

I generally ignore ALL “This character is ACTUALLY dead the whole time” fan theories. They’re universally terrible. Unless you’re playing a highly psychological game like Silent Hill, there’s no point considering it.

Did they do anything to improve the gameplay or is it basically identical aside from the 3d graphics? Personally the Secret of Mana sprites are some of my absolute favorite, so I’m probably going to be a pretty harsh critic when it comes to this remake. I rank loading screen exposition much lower. Environmental story telling is supreme, I agree. Myst really made me fall in love with that. Sure there’s lots of reading, but what really helped me figure out what was going on with the two brothers was all the messy rooms across the worlds.

I can see the attraction for this. I personally prefer one that works in an outlet all by itself without me needing an extra dongly bit, but good to have options.

I am interested in getting one of the quiet models of these, out of basic consideration for others.
