So glad to see it being covered in podmass this week. I said a few weeks ago that it had become the highlight of my podcast feed, and that is still the case. I think the Silicon Valley episode is an all-time great; the 'political disruption/swarm dynamics' installment of the reading series was horrifying.

It has honestly become one of the highlights of my week, which hasn't been the case for a podcast for me in a long time

Any Chapo Trap House listeners here? This week's interview with NYT magazine's Greg Howard about sport, its position in culture and politics, was really enlightening, not to mention hilarious.

That entire Algiers album is rad. 'Irony. Utility. Pretext.' another standout for me.

The Only Thing is indeed really rough, and probably my favourite song on the album, though the title track is up there for me. That said, it's probably the only album this year (perhaps with the exception of TPaB) where I never listen to the songs in isolation; it's the whole track list, in order, all the way through

Off the top of my head:
Songs:
1. Death Grips - On GP
2. Kendrick Lamar - King Kunta
3. Sufjan Stevens - The Only Thing
4. Deafheaven - Brought to the Water
5. Grimes - Realiti (demo version)
6. Jason Isbell - Something More Than Free
7. David Bowie - Blackstar
Albums:
1. Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
2. Sufjan Stevens -
