Every decision GWB made, he (wrongly) believed he was making the tough choices to make America safer in a time when Americans felt very unsafe.

At my old job, I was at an event where Ann Coulter was also in attendance. Everybody was getting photos with her. I did not get a photo with her and indeed avoided being anywhere near her.

That’s it.

This argument sucks, man! George W. Bush isn’t a lost child; he was the president. He saw photos of the torture, from the man who approved of that torture, and then he stood up for that guy. I linked to this in the blog, which I’m now not sure you fully read.

oh thank god somebody said it. gwb wasn’t bad, he just oopsie-doopsied the country backwards into a pointless war that killed untold numbers of innocent people and eroded all kinds of civil liberties for our citizens. the road to hell isn’t paved with anything, so we can just give him a sticker for trying his best and

I guess the point is, what is the expectation for Ellen here? Would it have been better for her to scream “you are a war criminal!” at Bush and then spit in his face?

Not sure about Mexico. In America, he’d be elected president.

Once again I curse the fact that this awesome dude is playing for the effing Texans, who are operated by a coach who seems to believe an O-Line is an optional part of the team.

Here is some “elbow-to-dick” entertainment from Bills- Titans game:

I disagree, but even if we take what you’re saying as truth, then you don’t get to simultaneously prevent your employees from expressing their personal beliefs. Doing so is inherently taking a political stance for your organization.

Since you can really never have too many:

So...Fertitta got a “huge backlash” against the idea that democracy is good, freedom of assembly is good, freedom of speech is good, and shooting protesters is bad? Hmm.

Not that this idea is new or anything, but one more time for the people in the back: stating that you are not / don’t want to be political is very much taking a political position.

I dont see what the issue is. Republicans love freedom, especially the freedom to bootlick the Russians, Chinese, and Saudis. We’re #1!

“Trump’s well-documented affairs didn’t happen,, but if they did, it’s fine! It’s only bad when a woman does it, even though I claim she has less self-control because of her hormones!”

When the super Christian, stable genius president does it, it’s NOT a sin!

Even allowing for the gender double-standard that Wohl articulated which surely exists within the dimmer segment of our society, I still cannot get over that these two dipshits think carrying on an extramarital affair would be career-ending in the era of Trump.

I have an incredibly hard time imagining that someone who is good enough to start for the Oranje and was born and raised in the Netherlands would instead choose the clownshow that is the USMNT.
