This show is tragically uneven. The introduction of Pete’s girlfriend brought a couple of interesting conflicts, such as when she decided to start insulting all of the other comics, or when she had an embarrassing drunken meltdown. But, overall, that character was not particularly well drawn; to believe that she would

I disagree with the assertion that a general medical scan would be considered an invasion of privacy. Anyone coming on board from space would be subject to a scan capable of finding pathogens. This scan would necessarily reveal the person’s internal structure, and therefore his/her species.

Leyna wouldn’t let Dr. Finn get close to her with the hand-held scanner. But surely there must be a way to scan individuals from afar while they are in sickbay.

Also, shouldn’t Talla’s security scan have revealed Leyna’s explosive blood?

Who’s Trisha? The name of of Orrin’s (two Rs) daughter is Leyna.

Andy does not want to work that hard.

This is a brilliant show with a great ensemble cast.  I am pleased to read of its renewal.

I wish NBC had given their trademark tender loving care to Great News.

Someone on another forum imagined Isaac saying the line “I seem to be filled with goo.”

This guy should fall off the edge of the Earth.

I assure you I am doing no such thing. Having rewatched plenty of the early seasons on FXX lately, I am truly appalled that some people seriously defend that version of the show as compared to the much funnier later years.

The conversation was delightful, with so many great stories of their SNL days. And the affection between the two men is very endearing.

Even if Homer had a lot of screen time in the early seasons, his characterisation was very dull. The writers had not yet discovered the enormous comedic potential in this character who would become one of the all-time icons not only of television, but of fiction in any medium.

His righteous rage is very moving.

“Black or White” is a call for equality, with a denunciation of racist faux journalism (“They print my message in the Saturday Sun / I had to tell them I ain’t second to none”), of openly racist organisations (“I ain’t scared of no sheets”), and even of nationalism (the song equates nations and gangs).

And the video

There are occasional cut-aways in The Simpsons; but, more frequently nowadays, the show restrains itself from that and stops just short, obviously to avoid accusations of copying Family Guy. The makers of The Simpsons should forget about this concern. The cut-away should be regarded as a standard technique that is

First of all, Louis was not famous for being offensive. He was provocative, but always in a thoughtful way.

What show what show were you watching? This episode was fantastic.

I will do that! Thank you for this tip.
