I practice nonmonogamy, so love triangles always have me screaming, “There’s a very simple solution here! You don’t have to pick one!”
I loved the aunts, and was so looking forward to the show, but checked out after the lynching episode (seriously, WTF). And the tone varied so much it was hard to get a handle on it.
I’ve seen a few of these, and TBH “thrift flipping” makes me uncomfortable
Yeah, I loved this movie, but my biggest complaint was that I just wanted more of everything. More or her life on Hala, more of her life on Earth, more of her friendship with Maria, etc. It was just A LOT to fit into one movie, as Cate points out, and even though I cried a bunch (the Stan Lee tribute, gah!), I was a…
I enjoyed it, but thought they made a tactical narrative error. If the premise of power is belief - or your story being told - bringing in Hindu gods as an example of the forgotten old gods doesn’t really work. That waitress should have the endorsement of 1/5th of the world’s population and the privilege that implies.

Interesting. I tend to go out to eat with people whose company I enjoy, so we’re not often in a hurry to leave.
Clementine is biracial. She's part black and part white. It can be hard to tell with her in game character because of the washed out telltale style but she is supposed to have biracial features. And her background is mentioned a few times throughout the games. :)
Gita, dont bother responding to these cunts. They're anti-black and usually anti-women being represented in anything. Not worth explaining to.
Symmetra is Indian, Pharah and Ana are Egyptian, and Sombra is Mexican. Which of those do you think is black? Cuz it’s, lemme check here, oh right not a one of them.
And no, Michonne is in the show. She means Clem, from the WD games.
a black woman.
“People involved aside, this ‘stunt’ will have lasting ramifications for ANY woman/[non-binary] person trying to get into Contenders. They will ALL now be subject to ‘lol are you real??’ harassment.”
I bought the book but I can’t find it.
