@redman042: Why, exactly, is the proliferation of app stores a problem? It isn't for me, it's making me lots of money. And don't confuse the crapware carriers are sticking us with for different versions of the operating system. Two different beasts. Though I'm certainly not happy with those carrier modifications…

@Celtic1888: Someone with that much experience should realize that the window dressing added by the carriers doesn't affect you at all. Everything I write works on every phone... I don't know how to put it any plainer than that. I completely ignore what the carriers slap on the phones.
