I would say a palette for each person... maybe 5 tones: 2 highlights, 2 shadows, and a mid-tone.

Shivering Isles was pretty much the only point I wanted to see added to this discussion. That was DLC done correctly. I don't care about map packs or tiny $2 trinkets. The only other "DLC" (though not really, considering the age) that I would say I have found fully worthwhile were the expansions to Morrowind that came

I definitely think the design is smart, especially given that each has a distinct personality that we need to be able to remember.

I am pretty positive she was not in the book, but the movie isn't just encompassing the book. It is one of two movies with the story from The Hobbit and other stories bridging the gap to the LotR books. I am betting Galladriel's involvement is through those other stories.

Staying on someone's couch is my plan right now, but doing that can only last so long, even with freelancing (I need a visa at least, after a while). Thanks for the advice!

I've opened discussions on this topic on LH previously, but I will ask again here as it is becoming more important:

I just checked my phone (WP7) and have noticed it has added @facebook addresses for most of my contacts (though, curiously, not all contacts that have facebook accounts linked). I am not too concerned, however, as I just have the contacts also linked to my gmail which is where I store all email addresses... not

How does one even access the @facebook email account? I remember when they announced it, but never bothered to inquire further. (Note: I don't plan on using it, just am curious.)

I've often woken up with solutions to problems of the day before. Mine were generally far less concrete (and not usually something I distinctly remembered from a dream, as I rarely remember mine) as they generally had to do with design/coding (web design).

There hasn't been any news released on that yet. Or rumors, even. There was a post from Nokia saying an update in the "coming weeks", but it turned out to not be 7.8.

It seems to me that slicing each reply apart from the original conversation destroys your point. If each reply is a conversation, then each reply to that is a conversation, where is the actual conversation? The system is essentially defining a single post as a conversation.

Though my evidence is highly unscientific, I think the "r" sound is one of the biggest factors in terms of accents/language variations. You say as much in the article, as it is one of the sounds that is not common to all languages, but even within languages it has a big impact. Within American accents it seems to have

I will throw my word in with the other WP7 users that feel perfectly ok with what is happening.

Add my name to that letter, please. Thanks.

I'm in pretty much the same boat. I really don't get why this is so terrible of them. They are bringing a software update to current users. Surprise, they aren't bring NFC and dual-core support... what would we have done with that if they had?

And yet the ball landing on Black 13 next in roulette is improbable, not probable. That is why gambling exists: for casinos to make money.

It is more like assuming Black 13 just HAS to come up at some point over a period of trillions of years. Sure, the roulette wheel in this analogy may have way more places where the ball could land, but it also is being spun a near infinite number of times.

"almost" was used. Given that, however, because it happened once that pretty much (notice I said pretty much) means it will happen again (elsewhere).

Absolutely agreed. I don't think I would get rid of my wacom tablet, but, as a graphic designer, I would love a decent integrated pen input for quick sketches and the like.

The pro is the one with "full HD" the ARM version is just "HD". I would guess this to mean that the Pro is 1920x1080 (1080p = "full HD") and the windows RT (ARM processor) version is something like 1366x768 or 1200x720 (720p = "HD").
