You and I remember Budapest very differently.

I don't think they realize. She isn't stuck in there with them. THEY'RE STUCK IN THERE WITH HER.

The house that Banner built.

Yes. If hot springs exist on the island there are very effective generators based on 134a refrigerant (via heat exchangers the refrigerant boils at about 160F and can drive a turbine.) Because they are assembled from common AC equipment, these (closed) systems are very clean, uncomplicated, inexpensive (for parts) and

I want to believe . . . in love.

Came here to post this, the building is cool, and the backdrop is amazing.

I maintain it would be possible if you could get the front brake to stop the wheel on a dime and if you were superhuman enough to hold on as you went over. I had a bike do that to me, but since I was not strong enough to hold on the bike went at a more upward angle and landed about 15 feet in front of me. I

I hear what you're saying, and if there's several of you, sure, have someone call 911.... But if you're in the back-country, SAR is HOURS away.... Even if you're at a resort, they're not going to be there in 15 min... So while it may take 5 seconds to call, then you've got relay where you are, the situation at hand,

I agree that getting SAR is important, but in the moment of a slide, priority number 1 for me is ALWAYS getting the person an airway, first and foremost. That being said, I don't carry a radio with me and probably should seeing as I'm almost always out of cell range, except for occasionally at the summits.

I would be working to dig them out before trying to contact SAR. SAR is not going to help if you wasted valuable seconds/minutes trying to get ahold of them.

My favorite line: when Hunter knocks over the damaged light pole, he says he didn't do it. Mack responds along the lines of "there is no reality in which I believe you *could* do that."

They're like the North American equivalent of the Hippo. They seem too cute and innocent to be dangerous, yet they're one of the more dangerous animals in the wild.

As a wildlife biologist who works with most of these 'Fierce Creatures', I'm here to tell you the most dangerous animal to cross paths with are other humans; nothing else even comes close.

Im coming back for more, but I wanted to take a timeout from reading to give props for this:

Look. We need to have a talk about this whole flying car thing. I mean, yeah, it's iconic, it just screams, Future, bitches! Everyone from Marty McFly to the Jetsons has one in the future. But...I mean, we have to be serious here.

Many of the mountaineering books I've read suggest that paradoxical undressing is due to failure of vasoconstriction during end stage hypothermia. When you get cold your peripheral blood vessels constrict in an effort to keep your core temperature up. Eventually they get tired and dilate. Warm blood from the body core

That picture looks like a James Bond escape vehicle! Being chased by someone, his Subaru spins out and get stuck. Quick, fires up the snowmobile, for some reason finds a jump, drops a grenade on his pursuer while flying over their vehicle in the snowmobile. Que credits.
