I think people get hung up on the word “easy”. “Easy” makes it sound like the game will be a complete breeze, which can work for some games, but that isn’t necessarily the case.

If you’re an avid gamer you might play Sekiro on Normal, die 100+ times, spend 30+ hours.
Someone with less gaming experience might play Sekiro…

It feels choppy because it’s not “one of the most visually impressive” fighting games. It’s the absolute worst of all fighting games out there in regards to visual clarity and animation. Textures and models are very good, though.

The main gripe I have with the ‘video game publisher hate’ is that people don’t seem to understand that the developers also want money.

Devs see money bag in publisher -> Goes to publisher -> Gets money -> Publisher “ruins” the game.

I get where you’re coming from, but you could just get used to a word by hearing it way too often (probably by hanging out with the wrong people :< ) and that’s how it gets stuck in the back of your head as the “worst word ever” - rather than you intentionally using it.
