I will refine that, if I may: women who became lawyers before, say, 1980, are this way. It was a self-selection process, maybe, or maybe they had to become extra tough or get eaten. Some very nice lawyers are women of that generation, but invariably, with my decades of experience, they became lawyers later in life.

I have an array of Macs. I find that the mini is great for reading and brief email/comments. The iPad is heavy for that, but if you need to see a whole page for illustrations, say, would be useful. For productivity, including taking notes, the Air is the way to go, or a separate keyboard for the mini or the iPad.…

The Footlights show from their year is on the extras for one of the Fry and Laurie DVDs. Emma and Stephen as the Brownings in a spoof of an old movie is memorable! Fentestic!
