Sure, I can (vaguely ;) remember being a teenager and having errant "boners" fairly regularly but I must admit never when I was scared or being coerced into something I didn't want to do (in fact often the embarrassment of having one at an inopportune moment was enough to solve the problem fairly quickly).

Yeah, glad it went out well. I was in two minds about how they left Miller and Hardy initially but after a couple of hours I came around to the reviewer's point of view - they don't have to be the best of pals because they're already the best of colleagues, they're solid in their own way. And it was absolutely true to

Mark frustrated me too but I think his responses are pretty realistic. Doesn't matter how many times what they have going for them (like his kids) is pointed out to people in that situation because it's not always a problem you can think your way out of (or at least not usually without professional help). To him his

You're absolutely right that we have to sort Earth out as a priority BUT it's also true that it doesn't matter how sorted out the Earth is if and when that big rock with our name on it lands. Currently, we're one bit of celestial bad luck away from being completely wiped out because we don't have any off-site backups.

Did you see the Build interview with Tennant, Danny Pudi and Ben Schwartz ?

Right. And if someone else was involved there's not only another suspect but charges of conspiracy to consider as well as someone they can potentially lean on for further information. From the little I know about it, establishing networks of association is a big part of any police investigation.

I dunno, to me it's kind of borderline depending on context. It's not _always_ meant condescendingly, often it really is just a term of endearment (like "love", "flower" or "duck" in other parts of the UK). Casual endearment though, bus drivers where I live often call passengers "duck" or "ducks" for instance even

Counterpoint: "The Next Phase".

I can get sunburnt in about 20 minutes but yep, that aside I haven't found it hard being a white man - if you can solve the worst problem resulting from being who you are with some factor 50 sunscreen you have it better than most i'd say.

Ah, that's a shame, I hadn't even heard he'd died. Aside from the roles you mention, 'Shelley' was family viewing in our house.

Exactly. You can see why she's with him but you can also see that she's better for him than he is for her.

I guess they used trees that were twice the size ?

Yep, don't blame you.

And it was interesting because of the power dynamic - Missandei was still leading proceedings even when she was naked and Greyworm was most vulnerable when he _wasn't_ naked (because of the reason he didn't want to be) which is also unusual for screen sex scenes.

Without meaning to be reductive about your pain (which to me sounds like one of the worst imaginable) I guess it's hard to be sure whether the morphine made a difference unless you were also unlucky enough to go through it _without_ painkillers (by way of a direct comparison I mean) ?

The whip is very in keeping with one of the underlying ideas of the show though IMO - it's all about expectations versus reality (ours as viewers and the characters' too). Nymeria, as the article says, literally brought a whip to a sword fight because her and her sisters' expectations of battle were wildly off

Also, how did Euron know which ship was theirs out of the whole fleet and on that note, how did he even find their fleet in the first place ? To paraphrase Douglas Adams, seas are big. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist but that's peanuts to seas.

Oh we'll be in the ground before climate change really starts to grimly reap. Umm, unless you're under 25 in which case… sorry ?

Exactly ! That's the silver lining, Doom VFR was announced at E3. Truly we live in a blessed age.

That doesn't seem to be an accurate portrayal of events. Or at least, it's more complicated than that.
