Completely agree. Our rule was No Kids Except Immediate Family. When people asked about it, we explained the head count problem. A couple of people wanted to bring their kid *as* their date, and told me their babysitter problems. I made a wincy face and they figured it out, but not without a lot of guilt.

I don't feel bad for her. She's going to a low-security white collar prison. If anything, I think it will do her good. Maybe (MAYBE) she will come out of this as a better person and learn a little humility.

My friend, who is legit Celiac, loves the "gluten-free" idiots. Why? It is because of them that the stores are now stocked with gluten-free aisles, and restaurants are now making special gluten-free dishes.
