I kind of totally love this, and I'm not really a fan of a lot of Katy Perry stuff.

When sex gets boring, women don't want it as much anymore. It's funny because everyone talks about how randy guys are to bone a variety of people, but a lot of women's sex drives shut down over the course of a long-term relationship because they don't biologically require as much sex as men (in most cases), but aren't…
Just gonna leave this here...
The comment wasn't specifically for you - you're totally right. I just saw that quote at the top and clicked the respond button : )
Comparing how many people click through a free blog on the internet for a few seconds with how many people watch a given show on a premium channel like HBO is ridiculous. Most people torrent it. You don't have real stats on how many people watch the show.
Wow - all your coverage of Lena Dunham, Girls, and the Vogue debacle is making you guys look entitled, classless and immature. Just because you have a platform, or power, doesn't mean that weren't wrong. Check your PRIVILEGE, Jezebel, and stop beating a dead horse. You're clearly too out of touch to process your…
I don't even have epilepsy and had approximately 10 seizures.
True! And he really was never very nice to her either.
Those guys are perverting the term to serve their own delusions.
Thank you! The "friendzone" is, in actuality, a neutral place. Anyone can occupy it if they desire more of a friend and can't have it for some reason, whether it's the person rejecting them romantically or the person already being in a relationship, etc. It's not something douchey guys have a monopoly on. It happens…
That's not the only definition of "friendzone", although that is frequently how it's used. The term refers to the place one finds themselves when they want more from a friend romantically and the other person does not. Girls and guys can both be in that place, and it's not always a douchey thing. Hell, sometimes two…
Well drinks that involve one liquor and one mixer get one dollar. My rent is high too. Drinks that have more than three ingredients, I tip two. Specialty cocktails get three.
Instead of putting out a 10K bounty on the real photos and getting all whipped up about it, Jezebel's headline should have been "Lena Dunham looks like her beautiful self on the cover of Vogue, here's why that's a good thing". The cover image was the least re-touched of any of the photos, and she looks very much…
Basically no one making their career in the entertainment industry would pass up on an opportunity to be in Vogue. I would also argue that Lena Dunham being on the cover of Vogue is a huge step in the right direction for the fashion world at large, and that Dunham has done a service for women in that way.
If these photos show anything, it's just that conventionally attractive girls seem to get more butchered by Photoshop than girls that are farther off the mark in the eyes of the beauty industry.
Jezebel has been really angry, they put out a 10K bounty for the real photos.
I'ma let you finish, but this version of Pony is the best wide-eyed indie cover of all time. Complete with bindi, for extra problematic!
I don't have a problem with anyone disagreeing, if you read through the responses that should be quite clear. There's this thing called dialoguing and sharing experiences and perspectives and making conversation online, and it can actually be done respectfully by some people.
Oh rly? That is absurd! I thought I was the only young white woman and the rest were all robots playing an elaborate trick!
Yeah, Jessa and Marnie are the most "realistic" characters in terms of representing specific types of people that I encounter in the real world, but the other characters - Hannah or Shoshana (sp?) for instance, I can't really fathom people like that existing.
