I watched one of those horribly cheesy SyFy movie...Mega-shark or something and it had one extremely redeeming quality. The guy got a pressurized tank in the shark’s mouth and then shot at it. Nothing happened and the guy next to him said, “What did you think was going to happen?”

I’ve had discussions where individuals try to dismiss the use of the word as “non-gendered” because the word does legitimately describe a specific psychological state of extreme emotionality that is applicable to both men and women.

Our reserves have notoriously horrific conditions. Canadians like to front like we are so progressive and post-racial but we have a very disturbing history of treatment of First Nations (and Inuit and Métis) people, and ongoing issue addressing said conditions on reserves.
