One thing I wish GT7 could do a bit better with is some of the event theming.

A surprisingly dumpy and ugly design from Mazda. Very disappointing.

Get a woman from F2 to get in the seat. That would be the best middle finger to Mazepin.

Dafuq? Bullitt is slow, yes, and maybe plagued with a bit too much Jazz Flute, but its deliberately slow. Lots of movies were back then. Because exposition was a thing. Its cool if you’re used to Michael Bay shit and don’t know how to watch a movie thats not going a million miles and hour all the time, but

Well that list was shit and there wasn’t even that much to choose from. Now let’s see you mess up NASCAR and Indycar liveries for fun.

My E46 3-series was a custom order without power seats. It’s actually kinda nice.

Theirs was a special case. The Quadrifoglio models are difficult to own even if they’re not that unreliable simply because there aren’t many mechanics certified to work on them so you’ll be waiting on labor for even longer than you’ll be waiting on parts. The regular Guilias and Stelvios are reasonably reliable by the

Going from the 996 to the 997 as the second generation of water cooled 911's. Better exterior, better interior, better/bigger base engine, better exhaust note, better convertible top.

The C2 Corvette. It solidified itself in motorsport history even if GM tried its damnedest to not be directly involved. Sure, Zora shoehorned a V8 into the C1, but the C2 took that torch like a toddler on Redbull and ran through a fireworks warehouse. It also gave us the namesake of the Z06 and Grand Sport, something

The Saab 9-5 NG. I drive one now, and had a ‘99 9-5 before, and the difference is night and day. (Also admittedly because they’re a decade apart!)

The R55 / R56 / R57 MINI Cooper.

The Panamera is a good candidate. In the flesh I always found the 1st gen to be really awkward looking, especially in the back. A misshapen, squashed Cayenne, with lumps in all the wrong places.

The first-gen Corvair was mostly a fine car, mostly, except for a couple minor issues everyone mostly forgot about (big /S). But a gorgeous rear-engined coupe with IRS in the mid’60's, that was still well-attainable? Huge improvement.

E30! When the E21 came out it was criticized as a weird 2002 successor. The E30 brought sexy back!

Talk about an easy call. Coming from the slapdash 1st gen fastback Charger to the classic 2nd gen—talk about hitting one out of the ballpark:

Any current model year Mazda that isn’t the Miata.

Does it look good? Yes. The prettiest F1 car of all time? Nah.

Honestly these days the fact the review embargo lifts several days in advance is the best sign of all it seems. And it sounds like this game is exactly what I was hoping for, keeping all the focus of the original game with the only flaw being it could never pull off a satisfying twist the level of finding out what

Twenty seven tracks with tons of filler does sound like a throwback to last century. If he keeps this up maybe he’ll get signed to No Limit.
