It’s not exactly much trouble though is it? They literally type one less zero at the end of the threshold number. The rest of the regulation would have been written anyway. You could argue that it's actually less trouble because of all the time they save not typing all those zeros.

It’s about time Ferrari and Lamborghini became more exclusive again. They’ve lost their cool factor with their crossovers parked in suburban neighborhoods. Maybe they should just cut production to 999 cars a year.

Here was my contribution to Radwood last weekend: 1985 Saab 900S 8-valve, Notchback restoration. A rare Saab bodystyle in the US. Not bad for a car with 340K miles under its belt. All works, including AC and 30 year old OEM Saab/Thule roof rack! I had a great time at Radwood.  Go there if you have the chance.

Why not a new Mazda3? Get the base engine with a manual, or go for the turbo. The CX-30 would also fit the bill, since it’s a Mazda3 on platform heels.
