You chose the wrong 2nd gen. Split bumpers or GTFO.

It could be this. Because they’re thirsty in Atlanta, and there’s beer in Texarkana.

Could it be anything else..?

My sister in law’s mom was faced with exactly this situation - as she put it, “I want to feel the wind in my hair while I still have some” - and she went for an S2000. She was ok with manual though.

Good grief, those are some boring last cars. If it were me, I’d yolo the 401k into some crazy exotic. Maybe the make a wish foundation could get her a 992 GT3 allocation. Buy in is high, but the estate would make a profit. But if we are sticking to a $25k budget, I’m going to go with a Lotus 7 replica.

WTF?!? Did y’all miss the “fun to drive” part? How could anyone recommend anything other than a classic car? Something REALLY unique?

Please give us a poll to vote on writer submissions so we can see how many people want to spend their last days in a Solara

Fuck it.

I’d get her a classic muscle car convertible. Safety isn’t really an issue when they’re terminally ill and it won’t lose any value at all.

Why am I the first person to suggest a Miata. 2016, automatic, $27,500 CAD so under $25k USD

The best option, if it’s financially feasible, is to get a two year lease on a brand new Mustang Convertible. I can guarantee that the payments will be about the same as buying a car for $25K plus (not to sound insensitive), when she’s gone, Ford can just take the car back. No hassle in trying to sell and you can do

I’m thinking the latest model XK8 or XKR you could get for your price would be the ticket. Elegant, comfortable, fun to drive, and a great design. Depreciation has probably already done its worst for resale value - so an additional year of driving won’t cost too much.

Yes. Here’s a 2008 Boxster S tiptronic in Guards Red over tan.72K miles and heated seats. Asking 22995.

I’ve been having trouble finding an automatic for sale in America. However, if you can wait about two months, you can import one from Japan.

Are there any decent S2000 examples out there for that price? If so id go that route.

really wish it had no cladding and wasnt lifted above what the taycan has.

But please, don’t actually end all wagons.

Easy NP. The supercharged V6 in these cars sounds gnarly, but the factory exhaust is far too quiet on XE models, which explains the resonator delete. The only thing I don’t like (and I really don’t like it) is the black wheels. What a garbage fad. And as far as the ECU flash goes... I would love to see the Venn

Yet these fools voted for a man who had to pay a prostitute to get some. *sigh*
