Doesn't sound like anyone you gave a ride was really satisfied though............

Over a hundred thousand people show up, many camping overnight to watch a bunch of people race in an oval, including a lot of time devoted to parade laps? - what is horse racing the Japanese NASCAR?

Exactly - most states have different levels of speeding offenses. In any of them that I've looked at running 50mph over hits criminal level with jail on the table.

Missing the larger point. Police protect police and the overall justice system is dependent on this and everyone is happy to work together.

I like calling NJ the parasite state. It kind of is shaped like a leech and sucks all it's wealth, relevance, population, etc from NY & Philly

Fresno is pretty awful and then you get to Bakersfield - at least in Bakersfield you know you're only a couple hours to LA. When in Fresno you are only a couple hours from Stockton or Bakersfield..............

Somewhere the 49ers are making their strong opposition to this demonstration known - last thing they would want to lose is the support of the cops

It's a 300 level course though - you have to pass basic breathing and a course covering how to get someone else to turn your phone on for you and install such applications

Look at the Cowboys who went to court with the NFL in the 90s and set up the structure where owners could develop their own deals outside of league revenue.

Analysts will talk what draws clicks and money - which is ND. Their schedule was never going to be one of the toughest with that run - it just wasn't.

They have a weak schedule. Gloss it how you want, but it's weak.

Doesn't matter what the seak out - they play a weak schedule. Period. While it can be hard to predict how a team will be in a few years keeping slots to teams like Navy, Purdue and Pitt on the schedule year over year doesn't help them at all. They have a ton of throw away games built into their schedule, to the

Except those teams actually win titles and do have wins over top 5 teams - in their case what tends to happen, and USC is a great example of this, is a lag in recognizing a programs fall.

No, it shows that they were propped up based on a flawed ranking system and were slapped around when they met a real top tier team - like always happens in modern history as shown by the USA Today link in this thread.

Not sure if this is a joke or not

Last year they saved everyone the trouble by losing right away after being ranked too high to start the season (top 15) - Losing to a mediocre Michigan team in Week 2 and then losing to Oklahoma, Pitt & Stanford everytime anyone would think of letting them climb the charts

So does this make another one of those quality losses that ND fans like to use to prop up a team that consistently has no quality wins?

Coke smells better there too

The hot parts of the state definitely do eat batteries, but not as dramatically as stated. In my experience I get around half the battery life than what I expected in other locations and very little warning when it's going to quit.
