I get the argument here, but I think the author underestimates just how deeply Rosie gets under his skin. He's objectively way more powerful than her now, but she seems to have this inimitable ability to rile him up that we would be remiss not to use.

It's true - pickles and white bread are the classic accompaniments. The pickles are really the only slight form of relief from the heat, since the bread soaks up the oils and becomes a pretty potent spice bomb

Ok, so how long until they pick up Korean fried chicken? People will go crazy over that sticky, spicy sauce, and it even has the same initials as the restaurant…

Totally. The simplicity of it is perfect for a target with so many negative facets that the opposition to him really couldn't be summed up any other way. The abbreviation is also key - for now at least, those who know, know, and others are unaware enough to allow you to slip it in.

There were reports that he was coming back next season, weren't there?

So I feel like the beginning can't be as simple as Daya just pulling the trigger, but the whole season taking place in 3 days thing makes me think something pretty serious will happen at the episode's outset. Does she pass the gun to someone else? Does Caputo walk in and shut the whole thing down? As long as

John is the only expendable one left in my book (apart from whoever comes back from LCK)

Ive also been getting the Brooke redemption arc vibe, but it may just be because that's what I want to happen

Remember Janine (sp?), that Australian girl? Definitely a contender

I bought the Our First 100 Days compilation yesterday which sends proceeds to a variety of charities, so I'm hoping nearly 100% of my money was donated between the two initiatives!

I knew this show was going to involve Drew Barrymore eating people, but I had thought (and was kind of hoping) that the "Santa Clarita Diet" was actually going to be some crazy diet she partakes in as a living person, like those queens who bathed in and drank blood to stay young. I think the serial killer for vanity

Actually the black blood probably freaked me out more…

But Kimchi is amazing. Even as a white person, I'll take that over "American food" any day.

But she used EVOO on her sammie!

Leave Rachel alone! She just wanted to make brunch!

I think it's really solid overall. I will probably end up seeing it as their weakest release just because there aren't really any life-affirming moments like "Sovereignty" or "The House that Heaven Built" that really leave an impression. That said, I'm trying to focus on what it is and not what it's not.

The cream cheese sounds gross, but those onions look heavenly

Even though it won't win, I'm glad to see The Red Turtle there. It's good to see Ghibli and its collaborators get at least that much recognition for the quiet masterpieces they keep churning out.

I enjoyed this well enough, but sober Jenn Kirkman's got nothing on drunk Jenn Kirkman. She should consider doing standup that way too…

Courtney Love egged him on. Told him to go on, take everything. Dared him even.
