Yeah, exactly what was he nervous about? His tax rate climbing .1%?
The sad thing is she's a really great impressionist if you look her up on YouTube, but they've only given her a chance to play Sarah Silverman for about 10 seconds. She should be up there doing Bjork and Owen Wilson!
I know there is a lot of reason to believe otherwise, but I'm still holding out the hope that she'll suddenly be amazing again. I'm excited for this
And if my memory serves me, they had the good sense to bring back the mom, who was the true star of the first one
If it doesn't open with 20 minutes of driving (interrupted only be a real-time visit to a gas station), I'm out.
Birdemic 2 was a little self-aware, but I was actually kind of pleasantly surprised by it. It retained a lot more of the unintentionally incompetent vibe than I expected, and was one of the only times I was glad that a director didn't seem to have learned much or invested any more in it than the first project.
I loved it and I think it was pretty popular around here, but from what I hear it suffered from the network moving its timeslot around and airing the episodes out of order. That's usually the kiss of death for most shows.
+ Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23. RIP.
I'm really curious to see what the hell Veep is going to do. It was already in a strange position with the twist at the end of the season, but given that the political climate has changed dramatically since then, it's hard to imagine how they'll be able to top the insanity going on in real life.
My dad salts everything in front of him, regardless of how much salt or soy sauce it already has. Makes me cringe so hard.
Haha clearly he's each of our first thought when it comes to it! I think "My Eating Disorder" provides a pretty good window into his experience
Patrick Stickles of Titus Andronicus has this (though I've seen it referred to as Selective Eating Disorder), and has written extensively about it. While there was probably some innate aspect to it, it seems like in his case his parents used food to hide ADHD medication, and he developed a severe distrust of it.
Possibly… When Marnie Was There is also arguably kind of incestuous
Kind of concerned that this looks a little like Tales from Earthsea, which is easily Ghibli's worst feature film. But here's hoping Goro learned enough from the solid From Up on Poppy Hill to get it right this time!
Same here! Even though we're not looking at any full-fledged feature length Ghibli movies in the near future, it's exciting that they still seem to have their hands in so many things.
She was really smart to point out that her dish was solid without it. The judges take kindly to chefs who hone in on a single flaw and are able to explain how their dish would be better if they made that change
All hail Gail Simmons, acid queen
Me too. And musically, some of it is good/interesting. Some is flat out terrible, but I'll take aggressively terrible over safe and bland.
I do think people who still support him are worse, but I think this could be another case of making a concession where they really don't deserve it. Anyone who voted for him had ample time and evidence to see how bad he was, and it's still on them for doing it at all.
