Well-done Dynamic Lighting can turn a 12-polygon cube into an incredibly real looking box that could exist in the real world.

This unhealthy trend of reselling us games that we already played is fucking stupid. GFX!
Just because this even came to mind for you I hate you.
don't we have male prisons as a fine example? and that's just men kept away from women. men in a world without women would have no future. without a future, what point would there be to civilization?
Women give men purpose, and without purpose we won't shave or give a shit, and we'll just start killing each other and be really sad.
That's what I think anyway :]
I think killzone is an insanely polished launch title. I'm truly astonished. It seems like a game that would come out at least 2 years after launch.
Killzone looks FANTASTIC on the PS4 so trying to compare it to Halo 4 is unfair.
I'm really happy they delayed it, it (hopefully) shows that they're serious about getting this game as perfect as it can be. I won't get my hopes up for it being as amazing as it lets on to be, but I won't completely push the thought out of my mind either!
I hate this "wait for it" nonsense. If you're going to buy this console in the next two years, it's probably going to be at this price, and by holding off for any amount of time, you're just making it less successful and making it less likely to get the killer apps that will make it a worthy purchase.
And this is how you can tell the strengths of both companies.
Y'know, Mass Effect is great, but every generation there tends to be a new IP from an unknown studio that really progresses the art of storytelling in games. I'm not sure Mass Effect will still be that series next gen. The only series that has made the jump and has had a highly regarded story would be....Elder…
No, I would be fine if all games looked like 720p because I am not "bothered" by such a "low" resolution. And as I said, graphical fidelity comes from improved game engines, talented artists and developers. Not higher resolutions. You can have the highest resolution but the game could still look like crap, you think…
I imagine people care because when deciding which console to spend $400-500 on, one important question is "which of these will have the best-performing multiplatform games in 5 years?"
Someone has to buy the console at launch, or else it won't be commercially successful.
Man, those R1 and L1 buttons are really scaring me. They remind of the 360 bumpers, which I hate. Too clicky for me. Hopefull they have some give to them
Fine, if you don't want to hear my perfectly reasonable complaints about the change in dev team, let's put it this way.
I turn into a graphics whore when new consoles launch. Just seeing visuals that couldn't be done on my old machine is enough to get me excited. A year from now i'll look back as we all do and yeah, these games will be nothing special at all, but right now, it's a great experience.
Nope. Loving what a person does is human. Making video games is not human expression. I guess making high school desks is human expression too, huh?
