Well-done Dynamic Lighting can turn a 12-polygon cube into an incredibly real looking box that could exist in the real world.

Because they can. Nintendo owns the most powerful IP in all of gaming, period. They've been in business for over 100 years, I think its safe to say they know what they're doing.

I think killzone is an insanely polished launch title. I'm truly astonished. It seems like a game that would come out at least 2 years after launch.

Killzone looks FANTASTIC on the PS4 so trying to compare it to Halo 4 is unfair.

I'm really happy they delayed it, it (hopefully) shows that they're serious about getting this game as perfect as it can be. I won't get my hopes up for it being as amazing as it lets on to be, but I won't completely push the thought out of my mind either!

I hate this "wait for it" nonsense. If you're going to buy this console in the next two years, it's probably going to be at this price, and by holding off for any amount of time, you're just making it less successful and making it less likely to get the killer apps that will make it a worthy purchase.

Y'know, Mass Effect is great, but every generation there tends to be a new IP from an unknown studio that really progresses the art of storytelling in games. I'm not sure Mass Effect will still be that series next gen. The only series that has made the jump and has had a highly regarded story would be....Elder…

No, I would be fine if all games looked like 720p because I am not "bothered" by such a "low" resolution. And as I said, graphical fidelity comes from improved game engines, talented artists and developers. Not higher resolutions. You can have the highest resolution but the game could still look like crap, you think…

I imagine people care because when deciding which console to spend $400-500 on, one important question is "which of these will have the best-performing multiplatform games in 5 years?"
