I have yet to see any of these famous rich people have a home I’d like to live in or even remotely think is nice. (Not saying I’m the arbitrator or taste) but fucking hell their homes are gaudy, gross and GAUDY. I googled Kylie Jenner living room and this is apparently her current, and I present without comment.

Not to mention all of the “red flags” that people view as normal behavior. And it starts early, when boys become physically aggressive towards girls and both children are told it’s because he “likes” her. So when actual violence happens, many (men) people don’t want to self examine their behavior and resort to

“They’re NOT dolls, they’re ACTION FIGURES.”

When a gay guy tells a bunch of drunk white women he’s getting a baby you can hear the screaming in space.

So now it’s just he said vs she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said,

I considered that perspective, but it would be the moment everyone is waiting for- in line with Beyonce bringing out Destiny’s Child, and more poignant than reuniting with NSync (which he already did on MTV a few years back.)

Good. I am sick and tired of left-wing eggheads pushing their biased “save the planet” agenda.

I agree, except for the Janet part. She is too good for this shit. Think of how he will take all the credit if HE BROUGHT HER BACK. My god. The White Man Savior doing her favor. The NFL deigning to allow her back at their halftime show. It’s gross. Janet should stay the fuck away from that mess.

Was she unaware her self-proclaimed modesty, under the guise of ‘Orthodox Jewish feminity’, is wholly rooted in the patriarchy? If so, it is an irony I find funnier than any of the 11 total seconds I’ve seen of Big Bang Theory.

I was told all the damn time as a younger surprise hippopotamus that I “thought like a man” because I’m not emotional and I tend to think very rationally and logically. I totally bought it too.

Agreed. There is a book by Dan Savage where he examines marriage. A great interview in the book is with a woman who pointed out if her ex-husband had over dosed and died when they were separated their marriage would have been considered a success. Because they would have then been together for a lifetime. Instead her

Congratulations* on their long relationship!

A couple of additional things:

It’s interesting to think about things like that since I am very much not a good saver. I like the good things in life and lifestyle creep is a real issue for me. I don’t earn a lot as a nonprofit lawyer, but I have several friends who are doing the full Big Law thing of working 80-100 hour weeks for annual salaries

i’m STILL hunting for a sweater like that.

she remembers word for word a conversation she had a decade ago with a guy who is friends with her then (current?) boyfriend
