I’ve read about that in Motor Trend too. Isn’t that amazing? People always think perfection and efficiency when they think “German” but it was those so-called lazy, messed up loud Italians who put Chrysler back together again and made it a good place to work. 

That’s genuinely good to hear. People underestimate the concept that sometimes the bottom line depends on treating your people who help to make that bottom line well - or at least not poorly. There’s a difference between maximizing profits and being a good company.

I worked at Chrysler from 2011-2014 and everyone I talked to who was working there prior to bankruptcy talked about how much better the work environment, handling of programs, and overall quality of employment was after Fiat took control. He did more good for that company than most people will ever realize.
