The way it played on console prevented me from ever really getting in to it. I tried on PS4 and it just didn’t work.
I’ve always felt this was the Camry of the Ferrari world. It’s just bland.

Light still is a problem. The surface of a car is a lot easier in many respects than skin because of all the subsurface scattering that goes in to skin and eyes and everything else.
I’m OK with all of that, really been enjoying what they’re doing with most of those modes, just want to see more development put in to them.

Blizzard has practically gone on record (I think) in support of the fan silliness. Not making it canon, but they love it anyway. They haven’t exactly been shy about using some of that for some of the skins, voice lines, and emotes IMO.

Grand theft auto often has not just great model names but brands and they somehow often fit the brands general identity.

Having not watched Keijo, comparing it to Kill la Kill in any way makes me more interested. I thought Kill la Kill was pretty amusing and worked well as a satire, lampooning the very fanservicy nonsense it appeared to be on the surface.
