I like that he specifies that his dad is Tom Bosley, rather than Howard Cunningham or just leaving it at "my dad".

Speaking of great line readings in this episode… "Not now, FROG" is pretty great

It's better if your job is delivery driver for a bakery.

A lot is made of Goldblum's vocal inflections, and while they are hilarious, what I especially love in that episode is the "are you shitting me" look he gives Tom after Tom asks if the dog can understand complicated seating charts.
"ah, let me just check here… uh huh… he can do all those things!"

It's not without it's charm.
I'm a "Sneed's Feed and Seed" guy myself.

It's actually pretty astute. This period of the show was marked by a lot of de- and re-construction of the show's tropes and assumptions. I don't consider that a bad thing, but at least Haynes Lee has a point, which is more than you can say for most of those alt.tv.simpsons guys. If only we'd listened to him, instead

They bring out the best of Homer's wit.

Shut up baby, I know it!

That guy was great in Apes-a-poppin' and Sing, Monkey, Sing

This is one of the best Simpsons episodes and the Simpsons barely figure in it at all. They really make you care about Troy McClure, who's basically a one-note joke before this, and Selma, who's had her moments before but is basically just grouchy and disgusting a lot of the time.

RayJay Johnson?

"Celebrity Mole Hawaii"

Maybe they'll have the transvestite he assaulted.

"Come on Charlie Sheen" is on TV now? These reality shows really are getting smutty

"Baby, everything I'm about to do to you, I learned at Sea World."

Misread first sentence as "ass to mouth."

Thank God for your one vote turning the tide. We really dodged a bullet with that one!

When you're in the minority, every vote is a joke vote! U-S-A! U-S-A!

…Who's been stealing your thoughts?

Each the tops in his or her field… except for Mel Lazarus.
