A lot of them will also do a free 30 minute session to see if you fit first too. Sometimes it’s mentioned on their profile, but if not, you can mention that in your email and see if they’re game. The worst thing they can say is no.

I see a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and after insurance, she’s only $10 a visit. I’d honestly pay way more than that for how much she helps me - but she’s a damn good value. :)
I totally get that. If you need to see a Psychiatrist because they give you meds, you might be able to get those from your regular doctor instead (can’t hurt to check just in case). That way, you can just choose a plain old counselor or Psychologist instead - they tend to be cheaper.
If it can even loosen it a little, that would be lovely.
lol - yes, those too. I didn’t even think about that.
Go to the psychologytoday.com Therapist Finder. That’s how I found mine. You can sort by tons of different criteria, or you can just search your zip code and see who you like. A lot of people charge based on a sliding scale that works with your income and that’s usually listed on their profile. It’s a great site.
She will love it. Kaylee loves her little bird/squirrel-watching perch. She pretty much hangs out there the whole time she’s awake now.
Do those steam mops work? I’ve been eyeing one for a bit because I have some ground-in dirt on my mud room floor and nothing seems to touch it. It just leaves little dried up dirt patches everywhere no matter what cleaner I use.
My soon to be ex and I have a mutual friend that I thought he was going to get in the divorce, but this week we talked a bunch. I ended up mustering up the courage to ask her if she wanted to catch a movie with me sometime and she actually gave me a date and time - so we’re going tomorrow. I’m excited and relieved…
It looks gorgeous. I’d say keep it, but your opinion obviously matters most. :)
I’m so sorry. It sounds like you’ve given her a great life. I’m sending you love and strength.
If you just want silly fun with very occasional depth, try Jenny Mollen’s books (silly memoir-ish stories). She has 2 and they’re both pretty much made for beach reading.
As long as it’s voice-only, I’m all over it. I need to be all non-makeuppy and PJ’d for true movie fun. :)
We really do need to Skype a movie soon. :)
You don’t have to sign up with any real info except an email address - and you can create a fake one (create a random gmail account or something) if you’re super worried. I’ve managed to stay anonymous on there since 2009 with my real email address though. You just have to check your settings and make sure you uncheck…
Don’t worry, you’re not alone in that. Heh.
I vote Harkness!
I’m drinking Pom Mango and vodka, which is a delightful combination I just discovered recently.
Also I’m not sure if I’ve said it before, but outofthefog.net is probably the best online resource/support group there is. It’s wonderful.
Thanks. Yeah, we were married for 10 years, so it’s really surreal - but if I have to get divorced, I’m glad it’s in a way that doesn’t involve betrayal and also keeps the friendship we’ve built. It’s painful sometimes, but it’s way better than it could have been.
