Please give me a gritty Bane origin story where the climax is him stepping into a gym and loading up a barbell for the first time.

Oh God, they’re gonna fill it with that fake-witty Joss Whedon patter that’s infected everything.

There are too many podcasts.

Ratboys seems to be stealing Charly Bliss’s schtick. That schtick is stealing Veruca Salt’s schtick.

Fury Road became the movie of the decade is because it whoops ass and it rules.

That very well could be, but I wonder why. I don’t think it’s aged poorly or anything. I guess tastes change.

I definitely agree with that, but I think they perfected their sound over the next few albums.

I think Teen Dream is my least favorite of Beach House’s output from the decade, honestly. Bloom, Thank Your Lucky Stars, or Depression Cherry would all get the nod. I haven’t listened to 7 enough to make the call, but I think I like it better, too.

I’m definitely in the minority, but I would have had Beach House’s Bloom over Teen Dream.

QOTSA seems like a band that’s either taken for granted or forgotten altogether by a lot of people, but they’ve been putting out consistently good and often great music for like 20 years now.

Surprised that none of the three Run The Jewels albums made the list, specifically Run The Jewels 2.

...Like Clockwork might be QOTSA’s second-best album. I’m not surprised it didn’t make the cut, but it’s a mammoth record.

It was a real hard watch, but goddamn if it didn’t make me want a True Detective season starring Michael Shannon.

There were about 30 muddy, unwatachble 3D movies made between 2010 and 2012. That could take up a good chunk of your list right there.

I think that part of it is I saw it in 3D IMAX and I don’t think I’ll be able to replicate that experience in my living room. I rarely care about going all out for IMAX, but Gravity definitely warranted it.

Actually, it blatantly rules.

Does anybody still think Eternal Sunshine is the best movie of the 2000s?

Shout out to a fellow Gregghead. I also thought that The Comedy was way too nihilistic and barely even warrants five bags of popcorn.

True Grit was a huge omission. Also, I liked Nocturnal Animals a lot but it seems like it wasn’t super well-received?
