Yeah, the Mutiny at Castle Black was a much bigger deal for me than the walk of shame.

It’s strange, because the show definitely mentions that Beric Dondarrion’s deaths and resurrections have taken a massive toll on him. That doesn’t seem to apply to Jon.

The Gang Give Frank An Intervention is probably my favorite episode of Sunny. It’s just so funny from end to end.

Correct. In the books, Shireen and Selyse stay at the Wall while Stannis marches on Winterfell. There’s a chance Melisandre convinces Selyse to burn Shireen, but I think it’s unlikely book Stannis makes that call, given where everyone is.

Yeah, Lady Selyse is much more likely, show and book, to sacrifice Shireen than Stannis ever was. I’m not a full-on Stannis Stan, but he deserved better than that.

I just finished up a re-watch of the whole series and thought the same thing. He’s way too young to play The Hound’s older brother. 

The Tyrion Targaryen theory is the fan theory I hate the most. It sucks, it’s pointless, and it sucks all the air out of the relationship between Tyrion and Tywin. It’s worse than the immortal vampire Roose Bolton theory.

Albert, as a longtime Bulls fan and sufferer at the hands of the loathsome GarPax, I have nothing but happiness and a twinge of envy for you right now.

I thought what ultimately led to Jon’s assassination was his decision to leave the wall to lead an assault on Winterfell after reading the Pink Letter. Sure, the Night’s Watch was already wary of him because he let the Wildlings through the wall, but he executed Slynt and sent Alliser Thorne off to another castle on…

Both strong contenders, but were over relatively quickly. The Dorne nonsense dragged out for a season and a half.

Ellaria Sand is just all around bad on the show. I have no idea what the writers were going with her, but they completely biffed it.

Worst part of the series*

The whole Bran/Meera/Jojen hostage situation and subsequent Jon Snow rescue mission was so dumb. It seemed like they just needed to pad run time or something.

*Extremely nerds voice* it doesn’t make any sense to call the show “The Long Night” if it takes place after the Wall is built. The Wall was built in reaction to defeating the Others/White Walkers in order to keep them out. I’m hoping that someone will eventually get fired for this blunder.

For weeknight games, I often take the train straight from the office with my computer bag. I assume this stupid practice will become widespread and I’ll have to dole out $10 bucks for the privilege of not leaving my computer at work overnight.
