I never even saw it!
I never even saw it!
That's almost exactly the reaction I had. It's really stupid and the politics of it are surely bad, but I didn't really spend too much time thinking about it.
I would argue that it's not only the worst Tarantino movie (it is) but also the *most* Tarantino movie, at least as far as dialogue goes. It's almost self-parody. It's still better than Planet Terror, though.
Death Proof is definitely better. I don't remember anything from Planet Terror other than Rose McGowan's gun leg.
Raped by rogue cop Jimmy McNulty, no less!
I did not know that about Time Magazine and OJ. Yikes.
Hey, nobody gets salamis' attention quite like Eva Green.
I think that's giving Snyder too much credit, but it's something to chew on.
WRONG SCOTT BROTHER DIED!
I liked the A-Team movie way more than I should have. It's not a "good" movie but it very much works for me.
The Grey is really good.
A chill bro is a young man who enjoys Dave Matthews, Jeep Cherokees, and lacrosse.
He's got the HIV big time!
Yeah, and I think that's what makes it work for me. It's a superhero movie for people who don't normally like superhero movies.
Now I'm imaging the Dark Knight as a Michael Mann movie.
"I mean, the body mass aloneā¦"
I didn't think hard about the politics at the time because I was a 19 year old dummy, but even then I knew it wasn't quite right. I enjoyed it enough when I took it at face value, but I don't think I could sit through it now.
It rules. I won't say it's better than the original, but it more than holds up on its on.
It's cool. I was ready to do the same thing!
And it was mentioned in the article.
