KoRn? Of course.
KoRn? Of course.
They're bad.
I think a lot of people would disagree on charter schools being a positive thing.
He should get less flack for shilling for Spotify and more flack for shilling for charter schools, IMO.
He's not for this grown up, but I can't speak for other grown ups.
I agree! I think it's a much more unique idea, at the very least. "Here's this movie that was massively successful but left almost no cultural footprint" is a more novel thing to explore than flops.
Forgotbusters was an incredibly fascinating column. RIP The Dissolve.
If Ned had been as cunning and self-serving as Chuck, he might still have his head.
He's Frank Grimes.
To be honest, I basically just copied Kanye's "BILL COSBY INNOCENT" tweet.
I think that's what separates good "prestige" TV from the dreck that aspires for prestige but falls short (like The Walking Dead). The Sopranos, The Wire, Mad Men, Breaking Bad et al had moments of levity that could momentarily alleviate some of the tension. They take themselves seriously, but aren't relentlessly grim.
He'll always be the weaselly station director from Airheads to me.
TED KACZYNSKI INNOCENT !!!
The Brandon Wardell episode was so bizarrely out of the norm for them. I don't mind when they veer away from politics, but having a Vine star/pseudo comedian on didn't really make a whole lot of sense.
Tim Faust is up there with Derek Davidson and James Adomian/Sebastian "Dragon of Budapest" Gorka in the Chapo guest star hall of fame.
For the most part, yeah.
A kid I knew in high school had a "Guns Don't Kill People, Glassjaw Kills People" that I thought was kinda cool back then. Good to see they're still in the t shirt game.
Whatever happened to Glassjaw?
That was definitely the biggest issue. They really needed someone to reign them in. The long, noodly jams mostly worked on Frances, but they lost the plot after that, IMO.
Bedlam In Goliath was probably the last physical, CD copy of an album I ever bought. I liked a song or two on it, as I recall, but it didn't come close to their first two.
